Welcome to Sunday Hair Studio- a private, intentionally curated salon serving the community of Hastings, NE and beyond since 2023.
As a business owner, I know how important it is to take time for yourself to recharge and fill your own cup so that you can continue pouring into others. I’m sure you mamas can relate as well. But, as busy women, we also don’t always have the time or capacity to sit in the salon chair every 6 weeks, as much as we would love to.
That is why I create hair color for my clients that works for them, not the other way around. No harsh regrowth lines, no pressure to book constant appointments—just soft, gorgeous, seamless color that looks good long after they leave the studio.
I’ve been a hairstylist for over eight years and have never been more passionate about my craft or serving my clients. I specialize in lived-in effortless color and volume extensions and take great pride in continuing to fine tune those talents with advanced classes and mentorship yearly.
While most stylists offer a great first visit and solid maintenance thereafter, I see my role as your stylist a bit differently. I work together with all of my clients to create a long-term hair care plan to ensure their color and cut look fresh always and that there won’t ever be a time where you feel pressured to book an appointment due to color fading or a harsh regrowth line.
When I’m not in the salon, I’m often enjoying a relaxing slow day with my dogs, husband, a good romance novel, and a cup of coffee. Taking time weekly to recharge and reset is non-negotiable; so that I can show up as my best self for my clients and help refill their cup too.

the story behind sunday
I originally enrolled in cosmetology school because it sounded fun and I wasn’t totally sure what I wanted to do with my life, so I figured “why not try it?” It wasn’t until I started taking clients behind the chair that I realized what being a hairstylist really meant.
I have clients in so many different phases of life, who shared with me their good and their bad. My chair has seen laughter and joy, and tears of happiness and sadness. As someone who has struggled with mental health, I know how much it means when someone makes you feel seen and valued.
When I opened Sunday Hair Studio, I wanted to make sure this was not just another hair salon, but a safe space for my people. That whatever phase of life they’re in or whatever they’re going through, they can shed their mask and be who they are, right where they are.
Creating dream hair is an absolute dream job- but even better is the connection and community that comes with it. It’s my honor to be, not only your hairstylist, but also an ear to listen, a friend to celebrate, and a safe place. It is my mission that everyone that steps foot in my studio feels that “easy like Sunday morning” vibe and leaves with a fuller cup.
